need help with broke leafspring nut

I'm trying to find out how to get my leaf springs off the bolt that goes through the spring into a nut in the unibody is constantly spinning.(still spinin) The ideas I've come up with so far are to drill a hole through unibody big enough for a socket or cut a slit in the plate that houses this nut so I can fit a wrench in it. Surely others have crossed this problem....:flamemad:

heh, "easiest" is a very realtive term, but thats right either up from the bottom or down from the top. Cutting all the way through the frame from the back would be a bad idea IMO. Note that the captive nut is larger than the head of the bolt by the way.

problem fixed after two days work man that was some wasted time.
