ok so i have a 1989 jeep cherokee AT. so i go and start my jeep and it takes me a few seconds before it fires. the starter works and all but i think it might be part of the fuel system. can you guys help me. its not that big of a deal. i was just wondering. ok thanks guys.

pretty common. The 87-90 years computer takes several revolutions of the crank to get its ducks in a row before it fires the engine.
My 89 used to take about 3 seconds of cranking. Put in a new starter and upgraded the wiring/grounds to make it crank faster, now only takes about 2 seconds.
