Front end problems

I have a 2000 Cherokee Sport 4.0 and automatic trans,driving in 4wd front end feels like it is jerking to the left doesn't do it in 2wd any suggestions???

only happens in 4wd?
u joints would be my first suspect.
any odd popping noises when you turn?

No popping, U joints were replaced last year. I use it to plow my driveway, kind of afraid to use it until fixed. Thanks for your reply

if it only does it in 4wd I'd really suspect something in the drivetrain of the axle rater than steering.
Pop the cover and see if it's got chunked up spider gears or something.
