Hi kdx, there isnt any real LEGAL wheeling around Putnam or Dutchess counties, (I'm in Pawling) there two relativey unmaintained roads that can be a pleasant, easy ride. pm me if you want more info, you will discover that just about every board on here really does not allow mentioning trail locations, and in some even trail names (the reasons should be pretty obvious) I would also suggest that you JOIN a club, NAXJA,(naturally) and one or more local clubs - most by us are in CT or MA - so that you can enjoy scheduled runs, events etc....

Also live in NYC area. Born-and-raised in NJ; there is nothing around legal. Seems like the best bet would be a short weekend at Paragon or Rausch Creek, or even the Pineys.

News to me! Only reason I've ever ventured up there is for skiing/boarding and my summer cabin in Maine (love flying down logging trails up there - baja XJ!). I may be headed up to NH soon as an excuse to buy a new hood and ride a little; I might have to find out some locations from you guys before I head up there.

The wheeling available in MA, VT, NH, and a couple small trails in eastern CT is excellent. Local clubs also have access to private land all over New England.
