Hi all,
I just installed a new radiator and swapped everything to a open system. I now notice a sound that takes place under moderate braking. It has a faint cycle or pulse sound (only).
MY investigation into pieces that may gave3 been broken or disconnected allowed me to find the rubber plug that which the heater vacuum and a black vacuum hose connect to, at the point where the heater core connects through the firewall.
1. I would like to understand what those hoses do and fix that problem (have no idea what to call the part and or have no part number). I have looked at the parts manual and can't find it in any of the groups I checked into.
2. I am wondering what is the source of this new pulse noise and I want to fix it.
I hate new noises in an older vehicle, especially when it hasn't aged with me.
Thanks in advance
