wiring for compressor

so for my 2 caddy compressors i decided to run 4 guage welding cable under neath the jeep. now the problem is splitting it to 2 8 or 10 guage wires to power the compressors. also im not sure where i should put the relay. should i put a big on on the four gauge or should i put 2 smaller ones on each 10 guage wire, thanks

relay as close to the battery is always good

do you have any ideas of where to find a relay that accepts 4 guage??

not a clue but I think you might be able to use a smaller wire

well i think im going to run the 4 gauge and then use a distribution block like they use when wiring amps. that would give me 2 8 gauge wires for the compressors and then some additional outlets for wiring to roof lights and that kinda thing. now the problem is what do i do for relays. any suggestions. should i run 2 relays on each of the 8 guage wires? also what size fuse should i run for 2 compressors
