I've searched about 50 pages of archives. Learned a lot.

But, I've not found a definitive answer to what coils to use to match my new Upcountry rear leafs (52002392 , "LT", Crown from Rigidsteel).

Rigidsteel offers 52001790 ,"FM", for the '86-'93 XJ, or:

52088104 for the '93-'98 ZJ.

Which spring most closely replaces the Upcountry front coils?

Why not just get the upcountry's?

You might look into adjustable spacers as well.

I'll check a couple of he online sources for the Mopar part. The lacal dealer is consistently much, MUCH higher on everything.

The adjustable spacers would sure solve the problem of guessing how it's all going to come out, fron to back.

Who makes a good adjustable to get another 2" ?

you could always get a polyurethane spacer..

I am planning on adding a 2" kit and Upcountry rear leafs. Then It occured to to me upgrade the fronts as well and do it all the same time .

The adjustable spacer sounnds like a good way to level the ride height after everything settles out. I bet they'r epricey though. I remember seeing one at Rocky Road.

Now I'm concerned the Monroe Reflex shocks I got may limit full extension with the lite lift and disconnects.

CarQuest offers a HD XJ spring which is made by MOOG and it is the UpCountry equivalent coil. Check out the links and the chart also. I get my Jeep parts from www.allchryslerparts.com and they give a 30% discount from the list price.

Tim

thanks for the links. It will take me a while to sort through. I know I shouldn't assume anything from a ZJ or WJ will bolt right up to my XJ.

ZJ front coils will fit and work. The difference in height and spring rates is very minimal. Use the search, ZJ V8 coils and ZJ 4.0 UpCountry coils give an XJ some lift.

I got a full 2" out of 5.9 ZJ front coils ('96 Limited). Added additional isolators and a full length AAL for roughly a 2.75 lift all around. Less than $150.00 and handles like a sportscar, but admittedly not the best flexer.
