how do you get the fan off!! ..............thanx

Unbolt the fan clutch from the pulley. 1/2" box end and a screwdriver to spin and stop the pulley from spinning works for me. But then again, I have no idea what type of vehice you have, but that was the solution for my '95 4.0.

yes i unbolted it!!! but the thing wouldn't come off the 4 studs .. had to tap it off with hammer, my arse was twitching i can tell ya...........
