hey guys i need some help if you would be so kind ?
i did my lift and I'm at 6" in the back and i need to get my angles straight/right.
heres where I'm at right now :
at the t-case i have 5 deg and the d-shaft is 17 deg
at the axle i have 12.5 deg and the d-shaft is 17deg

i don't have my sye on yet and so I'm still running the stock shaft and slip yoke.any ways its binding while turning and vibrating at low speeds so i would like to get it fixed .
so what shim do i need i think that its 6 deg ,or do i need to lower the t-case and shim or just shim ?

thanks for your help .
chris

As a temporary measure, I'd add the 6* or so shim. adjust the shim thickness until the transfer case angles and diff angles are the same--could leave the diff pointing down ~1 to 2 * to allow for axle wrap. But, I'd get busy with the SYE mod, and the install of a double-Cardin rear shaft. At 6", the u-joint angles are pretty well maxed out and won't have much of a life expectancy.
