i don't know if there is a BEST way,
-- i think the only way is through Tellico Plains Tennessee...

That would probably be your best bet. Unless you want to go through Knoxville to Maryville & follow 129. There would be some back tracking though.

Its a little out of the way
but you could come out I-40 to 74 then back to murphy
May be alot out of the way,
but good roads if your towing.

Depends on how far north your are 75 if you are near Cleveland go south to ocoee river through copperhill to murphy especially if you are towing
