Greetings, I have a 1990 Cherokee Laredo with 170,000 miles. The local U-PULL IT has about 50 XJ's. My question is; What type of Coil & Rear Leaf Springs came stock on my XJ? How do I tell Standard from Heavy Duty Springs? I have found a tag on a 98 XJ Front Coil Spring(stock) that reads: FJ 5200 1118. Could anyone please tell me what this means. Thank You, BUS

Any XJ coil spring with a paper tag on that starts with an F ( your FJ ) is a standard duty coil. Coils from the UpCountry offroad package or from a ZJ that start with a G ( GK 5200-1793 ) are the heavy duty ones and are +1" lift.
