I put a 2" lift on my XJ. I want to replace the shocks, but dont they need to have more travel. Should I get some made for a Grand Cherokee?

Nah, Go spend $90 and get some Rancho RS5000's.

I have a 2" BB on stock shocks, and it does fine. Stock bumpstops also. You should be alright, but you can look into some cheap ones from Rustys. Like $20 a peice or something like that.

well the xj is 20 years old so I think ill grab some ranchos. Any suggestions for the steering damper?
