I am getting a D44 from a XJ but I was wondering what had disc brakes that would fit it ? or is it even worth the hassle ? I have been looking for 1/2 hr and I keep finding D35 disc stuff .. :explosion

crown victoria, and I think some lincoln towncar stuff, with some minor modifications, try searching for "dana 44 disk brakes" or "crown victoria"

You can make the ZJ stuff work, or do what I did.

I got caliper brackets from AA Manufacturing, caddy calipers w/ the parking brake, and '97 XJ composite rotors. Modified the bracket to fit the D44 tube, opened the pilot hole on the rotors about .030, assembled the calipers to the brackets, clamped them onto the rotors and used that to dictate where the bracket should go. Welded it up, ran the hoses, connected the parking brakes, bled the system, and voila.
