Little day trip...

Up to blowing rock/boone area... then drove Globe road... a non maintained dirt road about 30is miles long... to brown mountin beech road... all in all about 40-45 miles of dirt roading with detours on little trails I see branching off the sides of the road.
Lots of relaxation... lots of fun.
Stopped at a small general store where all they sell are the old school glass bottles and got a sun drop and nutty buddy.
Crossed a few streams.
Then went to brown mountain ORV area...
Got part way up the trail and decided against it with the small car tires... *caved in a rocker panel and ripped the tail pipe off:D*.
Came back to town and ran my little local loop... and took a couple of flex pics to see how the stock suspension with all swaybars attached articulated.
All in all a VERY fun day.

I do stuff like that every once in a while, traffic stops and I see a trail and powerline in the distance and off I go.. found a 'shortcut' from the lehigh valley over blue mountain, it's 15 miles shorter but takes about an hour longer :D That was when I worked in NJ. Fun stuff....
