... My ZJ was stored in a facility in North SL. Yesterday, a security guy called me and told me the unit was broken into. The snowmobiles and other equipment was untouched but my Jeep had been raped. The infamous "they" tore apart every piece of stereo equipment I had. I should be thankful I had left my doors unlocked so the windows weren't broken.

This is the second time that car has been broken into.

Please be on the look-out for:

1. 2 Sony Xplod 10" subs in a black carpet box
2. Kenwood KC-400 Sub amp

Mine was taken out of my driveway in Sandy. All they took was the wheels/tires and the stereo. In the process they busted the dash and plastic panels holding the speakers on. And the steering column. The insurance totaled it and I bought it back for $700, took the money from the insurance and lifted 2 more inches and replaced the stereo. Just as good as new except for the gaping hole in the column where I had to replace the slider rod for the key switch.
The thing that really pissed me off was that the tow truck that picked it up dented the front fender, broke out the rear window, and bent all the steering rods. Then they claimed that they didn't do it, even though I had seen it before they even got their hands on it. It had no such damage. @$$holes.

Car thieves should be shot on sight. :hang:

So keep an eye out for an Alpine deck and a Kenwood dual 10" bandpass box.
