New member need help

i am new to the jeep world and just bought my first jeep. An 86 xj with a 2.8l. I will be swapping in a 3.1l due to a cracked block on the 2.8l. my question is i have a 2 in lift with new coils and springs that came with it are there any mods i should be conserned about with running 31's. i will be using this to tote the fam around and do some mild rocks.

you need to do some trimming and maybe bumpstopping

What about shocks will the stockers fit? and how will the stock tranny hold up to the new motor?
