I believe the output shaft on my steering pump is leaking fluid. Does anyone know if it is possible to reseal it or do I just have to get a whole new pump?

napa has rebuilt kits with seals for like $6-$7, so you do not need a new one jsut get a rebuilt kit and a hour or 2 to fix it.
