Hey fellas, I chopped the back off my rig, and now have it caged in. I am a bit nervous about the rear quarters now... They are boxed in with a steel frame, but it will not be enough to lean them up against anything. So, I am looking for ideas and suggestions to give them some support. If you have any, I would love to hear them...So far my plan is to run a triangle gusset from the side of it to teh floor at the end. Anything else I could do? I just dont want them to fold over the first time I lean on anything...
Here is what it looks like. Any and all suggestions welcome.

wel, all I did to mine was add some quarter panel protection on the outside. no additional structure was added

i have layed my rig against some rocks and walls already, and they are holding up fine so far.

Good call, and I have already added the same armor to the outside of it. I forget who makes it. If you look close at the pic you can see the screw heads. So, taht is on the outside, and I assume it will help a little, but think I should try to add some more.

you could always add some tube from your cage that goes above the cutoff section and sticks out just a little further. that way if you layed on your side, it would take the hit.
that was always an idea i had thought about doing.
just an idea
