I will be in Canyonlands and Moab from June 9th to the 18th for a family reunion. I probably won't get to do much wheelin, but on the off chance I managed to break something, get stuck, etc. Anybody willing to loan me a phone number in case I need a hand? Like I said...I don't expect it, but I will feel better if I have some locals to call on for parts/tools/help/etc.

If so, shoot me a PM. Thanks guys.

If you decide to run a trail, it's easy to meet up with others looking for a trail buddy. Just head over to City Market by 9am at the south end of town in Moab. :sunshine:
I've done it a few times myself when I was solo in Moab (both Jeeping & mtn biking).

Thanks Guys.

Anyone familiar with Elephant Hill? I just found out that we have to go on this trail to get to one of our campsites. My Uncle has a stock Cherokee on 30's....Is he in trouble? Also have a full size Bronco (87) on 33's, but he should be okay I think.

You will be ok with both. The Stupid Park Service has actually paved over the super hard stuff on Elephant hill in order to get their vehicles over it. I have done it in a stock Cherokee. A little careful tire placement and you will be Golden.

Since you are doing Elephant Hill make sure you get out to the Confluence overlook of the Green and Colorado Rivers. If you miss that you are crazy.

Already on the list. Thanks.
