Old man emu question

Does any body know from experience the ride quality difference of the N35/36 shocks vs. the n35/36L's. The lift i have is an old man emu 3" but i didnt want to get the long travel shocks if they didnt ride well or last as long.
Can you help?

I have the whole OME suspension; Heavy constant load rear springs and TeraFlex extended shackles, and Med. load front coils and ACOS to level it. I have the extended shocks front and rear. The whole setup rides and handles better than stock and better than it did new.

I highly recommend OME anything! Its pricey but its engineered/designed/built well.
