Just popping in to say Hey! Left North Carolina yesterday afternnon, just rolled in to Marshall Texas. Made the quicker than expected.

Yesterday evening made it to Alabama. $40 on gas (premium). Today got another tank in LA at $43. Half a tank still in the car. Not too bad for a little over a thousand miles.

Anyhow, off to do some stuff with the dogs. They have been troopers so far. :)

Glad to hear you made it ok. So what do you figure you getting MPG wise? Wish $40 bucks would fill a tank here on the West Coast. Supposedly thier is a gas shortage. Sure. :rolleyes:

Thanks. I had not planned on getting here until tomorrow... so it was smooth. :)

I dunno, I think it has been taking ~14 gallons a fillup. The car burns the high octane stuff... usually around $2.90 to 3.15 a gallon. I was suprised as the gas mileage. Not bad for an AWD vehicle.

Yeah, I don't wanna spend the time downsizing the pic tonight. :)

The Volvo is a 2005 S60 2.5 Turbo, AWD. For a 5 cylinder, sure has some "git up and go". Just hit 10,000 miles on the odometer on this trip.
