I am not a ricer. However, I just bought a 93 civic to commute in for the milage, and it appears to be slightly lowered. I want to return this thing to stock so I don't have to come to a near stop for every speedbump.
I figure the rice dudes are like jeepers, they pull their stock stuff and end up essentially giving it away to get it out of their garages. Sooo, if I could just find the NAXJA equivilent for ricers, maybe I could score the stock stuff I need -- local in Colorado would be a bonus to avoid shipping...
Anyone know where I should look?? :helpme:
TIA
Chris

Talk to Remi. I hear he's going to be putting a killer kit and an awsome wing on his Civic.
PS- Most of the ricertypes I knew cut their OEM springs down with absolutely no thoughts to pesky things like spring rate...

hmmm - maybe I better look under my little ride and see if I have cut springs. If so, I just need springs and not shocks, so that's not all bad.
thanks for the tips thus far guys. I have PM funvtech -- what is Remi's username?

I checked that site out and it looked like it had alot of info, but it wouldn't let me check out the classifieds without being something other than a "trial member", and I couldn't figure out how exactly to pull that off. I'll give it another look and actually read the instructions...

Yup it does - but I was just poking a bit of fun at his expense there... IN fact last I knew he was selling it.
I figure the rice dudes are like jeepers
Don't ever say that again.

You know I've been taking notice lately on just how much ricers are like Jeepers.

I bought a celica to drive to work, 30 mpg is nice. But I checked out the forums, and they experienced ones are like jeepers surprisingly. But most of them are pretty stupid... I saw the "can I put a BOV on my car with no turbo?" thread the other day...

No worse than the "can I weld two 8" coil springs together for 14" of lift" thread.

I would consider it the equivalent of the occasional "Where can I get a body lift?" thread...
