8.25 pinion yokes?

Can anyone confirm or deny that there were different length pinion yokes for the earlier/later model 8.25 rear? I read 1/4" someplace but can't find much info on it.

Yes there are 2 different yokes 2.75" and 3" And it seems that the years overlap.Not nuch help Huh.

I only show one yoke available in my books for the 8.25.

52068839 is the 3" (from any year, as far as I can tell), and 53007787 is the 2.75" ('91-'96).
