how much lift will it take to clear?

depends on how much cutting. with a lot, 3-4" with none 5-6" at least.
i'd sitck with 4" at most, cutting, and properly adjusted bumpstops.

I have a plasma cutter and a cut off wheel. So thats not a problem.

certainly dont have to. you can still trim enough to clear them and have it look good. hell mines chopped pretty good and its a dd, beat to crap too.

6" here and I clear my 33's just fine, but flexing you can tear up your fenders. I trimmed them and no problems.

depends on what you want.... you could fit those with all kinds of combinations of lift, trim, and bumpstops.

4.5 rubico, 33x12.5x15 bfg's, trimmed to the pinch welds. rubs just a bit with some good flex.
