crankshaft position sensor relocation

does anyone know if its possible to run the CKP off the harmonic balancer like hesco does on the renix jeep

No reason not to. I'd ask them to be sure, since I do know the two sensors work on different principles (Hall Effect switch vice voltage generator,) but it's theoretically possible. Ask them if they've tested their relocation setup with RENIX controls, and maybe be sure to point out that the two systems are different...
