AW4 TV Cable Adjustment Q

I understand how to "properly" adjust the TV cable thanks to this wonderful forum. However, I would like to firm up my shifts somewhat and it is unclear as to whether I need to loosen or tighten the TV cable (by 1 click) to achieve this. In other words, for firmer shifts, do I move the cable sheath away from or closer to the TB for greater pump pressure in the trans? Are there any downsides in doing this?

Thanks.
Dave

You would pull the cable out a bit more, so it looks like more throttle is applied. No real downside, other than perhaps shifting firmer and quicker resulting in less heat. A slow sloppy shift will generate a little more heat in the tranny.
