Distributor ?

Friday evening I expierenced the joy of having the 3 pass. side motor mount bolts shearing off. Looked like 2 have been broken for a while. When the motor dropped the dist. hit the motor mount knocking a hole in the housing. Can the housing be replaced or is it time for a new distributor? TIA. JIM.

You mean the distributor housing itself, not the cap right? The cap can be replaced, the distributor itself...it's time for a new distributor.

Yep, the pot metal housing. I put the piece back in with jbweld & it seems to be holding. May have to order one from NAPA. JIM.
