Thats strange, if AM general decides to sell them to the public what GM gonna do. What suprises me is that the crummy ones, H2 and 3 are made at the AMG plant.... was looking at an H1 the other day, dealers right across the street from where I work, jeep dealer 4 dealers down the road, MB between, it's a white 02 pickup config and still going for $80K, immaculate with 20K on the clock but still $80,000 bucks, sheesh....thats three loaded rubicons, two shorties and an unlimited.
They mention 10mpg, now the one I drove for almost 5 years was a diesel, got close to 30mpg on convoys from nj to ft drum ny. Guess the civvy ones are pigs.

I wonder if AMG is going to focus on military only Humvee production then, plus it looks like GM is doing something about it's gas gussler "problem".

I think they're measuring the gas-engined vehicles in that (I note they don't even mention that there are diesel Hummers) - I got to drive an H1 Alpha with the Duramax in it last August, and IIRC we averaged around 20mpg in mixed town / freeway / light trail driving. Not phenomenal, but damn good for an 8000lb. vehicle.

They should cancel the H2 and H3....I have no issue with the H1 it is an actual 4x4....the other ones are shit...

Hmm, Fleet CAFE is a bitch, huh??
Takes a lot of Evio/Cobalt sales to even out that kind of MPG.
