can anyone help me out here? I've searched to find further info regarding the use of a full size Chev lowering shackle to attain approx. 2" lift on the XJ, but there seems to be no info of what year Chev. I'm having problems with the dealer and parts stores asking for a "chevy full size lowering shackle" without atleast a year (a part number would help immensely) Can I just pick a year like 1994? are they all the same from like '70 thru 2000?
TIA

I got mine locally 3+ years ago and the box had '88-'98 full-sized GM lowering shackles 2"-3"; they have 2 sets of holes. They came with poly bushings and the only thing I added was drilling and tapping for zerk fittings so that I could grease them!! Overall cost= ~$45 and no complaints to date!!!!

I've got a 91 gmc full size and the lowering shackles worked for 2" on my 93 xj. When i got them i did not know this, needless to say I had to order a second pair. they were $29.95 from stylinconcepts.com.
