t case swap

my 99 limited has a np242 t-case. i found a np231 out of a xj with a sye already installed . will the case swap go right in with the stock shifter a front drivshaft? they both have aw4 transmissions and dana 35 rear axles.

Its depemnds on the donor.Spline count and length are the variables.The input shaft gear can be swapped also.

I have the 242 also but was wondering about swapping it out with a t-case from a 03 rubicon? is this even possible?

If you have an auto it will fit,not sure about the late model manual trans spline count.
