OH ! NO ! I'm sure it's not going to be ANY fun.......I wouldn't want to be part of that HELL.....
I'm hoping to "try" and get up on Fri. for the maint. I haven't been able to prep. the rig too much but all should be O.K., work might be another issue....
On Sat. I'll be play'n dad and may just run back up for the day with the kidlets...so I'm not sure.... probably 50/50 each day....

The change in predicted lows from 30 to 36 has made a noticable improvment in the female acceptability quotient here. I have been talking up the fun of below freezing camping all week but that didnt have half the benefit of seeing the low temperature go up 6 degrees.
Off to REI for poly pro for the little one...

all you saps will be camped out in the cold...
I'm going up on friday to my room at the arrowhead resort and spa with my wife and son. Sat I will be at the trail in my jeep or comanche or maybe my wifes minivan if I don't get the jeep fixed. so I might need a seat to ride in. then I will make my way back after the raffle to my cozy room in arrowhead with the lake view. and sleep in a big bed.
rain snow or shine I will still be wearing shorts and a big ski jacket...

Dont you dare tell my wife about spa's, hotels or resorts unless you complain about the service, the bill, the lousy food, the smelly rooms, the snotty guests, the rude service and hopefully a lack of heat.

OK, Ill bitch about the price. $240 a night and all you get is a room that stares into the nothingness of the lake with 2 double beds and some food to eat in the morning. my wife will not be on the trail with me in the morning but rather she is going ot take my son off to do something else on saturday. If I could I would camp. I'd love to get my wife on the trail but she doesn't do well on twisty mountain roads so oh well.

I suppose you may be forgiven this time. You can make up for it by bringing something good for me to win for the raffle$$$$$:yelclap:
BTW, take notes on the rooms. The wife and I are planning a similar stay somewhere in the area.

we're staying at the Honey Bear Lodge in BB for about $180 for both nights.

Wife won't make the drive from arrowhead to BB. Long story, has something to do with head on colision and a 2 lane twisty road. she was fine but people died.
I was the one that opted for the lake view instead of the tree view.
That would be really cool if it snowed... yeah right.

I have stayed here a couple of times with my wife. Nothing exciting, but they do have fireplaces and jacuzzi tubs available. We went there last month when they got their big snow. The rooms are not fancy, but they are affordable and 2 blocks from "downtown". If my wife were going, we'd be staying there again.
One of these days I will get a cabin up there.

Well when you work for Team Suzuki, there's a hair bit of stress going into a race like this. I'm just hoping everyone stays upright, and it's a good clean race...
