whose running MT Classic II's

Ok, was considering Mickey Thompson Classic II wheels in the 16x8 flavor, but come to find out that the BS is 4 7/16......I think that is more than I want??? I'm going to 265/75 16's, and am wondering if that is enough clearence?? Anyone running these?? I'm currently running 255's, on stock 16x7's and needed a 1.25 inch spacer to get away from my LCA's. Stock BS is 5.25 inch?? That would mean I'd actually like a 4 inch BS wheel?
Thanks for the input!

that bs will be fine. I run 31x10.5x15 in cragars with 4.75 bs with no contact with the lca's. 265/75/ is the equivilent of a 31/10.5 .

no....a 265/75-15 is a 31x10.5 a 265/75-16 is more like a 32x10.5

i would go with that backspacing, the wider wheel puts the extra inch to the outside, i just put a set of 255/55-16's on 16x8's with stock 5" of backspacing, and they stick out a good amount

Anyone running these MT wheels, with the 4 7/16 BS, and 285/75/16's? I'm concerned that this BS is too close in to clear the 285's. That is my end goal, and my financial advisor (Read WIFE) has assured me there will only be one set of new wheels in the life of this Heep....I'd hate to get them, find they are really close with the 265's, and then won't clear the 285's. I'd really like to stay away from the wheel spacer issue. I've got 2 right now, and I'd rather get new wheels then obtain 2 more spacers. Simpler solution.
Thanks in advance!
PS. What are the experiences with MT MTZ tires??
