Center bump stop?

I was layin under the Jeep about an hour ago, and I envisioned a single bump stop, attached to the shock 'crossmember', right above the rear pumpkin. Could this work? anyone done it? thoughts?

how is it going to limit how high each individual wheel can go into fenderwells?
