ok so the other day i was driving my 99 xj sport home from work and as i was leaving the parking lot and driving slow it felt like i was in pt 4hi the steering was jerky so my question how to tell if
1 im in 4 hi and my tcase needs the linkage adjusted
2 bad ball joint
3 wheel bearing??

To tell if you are in 4wd just jack up the front and rear and see if the front tire spins when you put it in gear.

it's likely you have a seized front axle ujoint
