loud humming

I have a 94' with 4.5" & 33s and on my way to school this morning about half way their i started hearing a very loud humming noise comming from what sounds like my rear end. and thanks for the help.

what the noise is

Probably has something to do with your rearend.

Possibly the berrings are starting to fail.

maybe more info, what rear, what gear, locker?.....baisc info!

check the u-joints on the d-shaft by chance? bearing would be my next guess...

corp 8.25, 4:11, no locker and thanks for the help

did you have the gears done or were they in there already?
sound like a pinion bearing.

the gears were in their when i bought it over a year ago but i think it might be the u-joints on the drive shaft
