I am just letting everyone know that I am going to pick up my XJ today!!! We installed the 8 inch Rubicon Express lift over the weekend and put the 33 inch procomp mudterrains on it and I had it towed to a mechanic yesterday to get the brakes done and I am going to pick it up by lunch to go get the rear axle set and then, IT'S GO TIME!!!!! I am trying to get ahold of a digital camera to be able to put some pics up, so I will keep all posted on the status.

That's weird, I wasnt aware that RE made an 8" lift..


what did you do to it to be 8"? add spacers?

1) yes. I have the RE six inch with 2 inch coil spacer and shackle
2)RE extended braided lines
3)RE dropped pitman arm
4)Am getting the front end aligned tomorrow
5)Having a laser cut t-case drop brackets installed today

You guys always have the good luck. I bought the biggest lift that RE made for the XJ @ 5.5" And now everyone is putting on these (must be brand new 8") lifts.
I knew I should have waited..
