oil pressure

did a little wheeling tonight and the same thing happened 4 months ago last time i wheeled it. it gets a little warm with no air running through and the check gauges light comes on and i have no oil pressure. i know the obvious and logical reasons why this is going on but i was wondering if anyone else has a similar problem and what it was.
