Radius arm mount questions

Before making my brackets at the crossmember for my radius arms, should I make the brackets wide enough for spacers on each side of my joint? Im running the RE superflex joints. Guess my question is, will it move enough to were it would hit the brackets if I didnt use the spacers?

TTT, I would like to know too.

BIG98XJ, I assume you're swapping in a HP44? Does that mean a 9" rear too? Got any pics? I'm about to start the 44/9" swap.

You won't need spacers. BTW check out www.ruffspecialties.com for some pre-fabbed mounts. They save a lot of time and work.
