Quick Sway bar/JKS disconnect question?

I have just finished putting an RE 5.5 Long arm kit on my 98 XJ Classic. But I have no idea how the sway bar relocation brackets go? go they bolt up with the pointy end going foward or towards the rear? Do I even need them? Ive seen pictures of everyone with out them. Thanx for the help. please help Im almost done!

You need them if your discos are hitting the coil springs. They go on with the "pointy end" going towards the front, so that the sway bar is moved forward.
