Propper welding of 8.25 Spider gears?

Does anyone have a picture or a link that works of how to properly weld 8.25 spider gears so i can still remove my axel shafts? i surched a few places but no luck. also i dont care if you think its a bad idea i just want to know how to do it right. its a trail only rig and this is only to tide me over till i finish building my other axels. thanks.

Just weld the 8 spots where the side gears meet the spider gears and no where else.

I welded some short screws to the spider gears just so I'd have something harder to weld to. Makes it a little stronger from what I've seen
