So... I got married last year and we are looking to buy a house. If I want a house out here (in San Diego) where we currently live we can get one. It will just be a piece of CRAP or a condo. I don’t want to move into a fix-er-upper or a condo with a small garage. Houses out here are ridiculous in price. So, since she and I both have family in Arizona we decided that we are going to move there next year. We have already looked at houses in Arizona (bran new ones BTW) and they are less than ½ of what comparables are out here in San Diego. We are hoping to be out there between April and July of 2007. I will be our first home purchase so we are both really excited about it. We are going out there again next month to check out more houses and areas that we want to live. We have also already looked (online only) for jobs out there and found allot in the Phoenix area in our line of work. The are we are looking at to move is off the 10 freeway Maricopa County. It will not be to bad of a commute to Phoenix and both of our family members that live out there are in Tempe so its not like they can just cruse over if they are bored =). Well that is my story so far. I wondering how much wheeling there is to do in Arizona. Are there allot of restricted zones out there? Arizona is a desert so im sure there is allot of good wheeling spots. On NAXJA what is the chapter that you Arizonians are in?

AZ is awesome for wheeling, from scenic drives to hardcore BOTW style. We are in the Intermountain, but have enough to start our own one of these days.
Phoenix Metro area has decent places to live. Scotsdale is nice, and so is the Chandler area. Depends on what all you need.
Also, depending on what your careers are, look at Tucson and Flagstaff, maybe even Prescott or Sierra Vista.

Lots of poseur wheelers in AZ.
Take Rick Norman, for instance, likes to use his XJ to hit the mall and carry his clubs to the golf course. Sometimes even goes all out and drives out to Sodona for a spa day.
Yup, a real poseur.
