So I've had chronic loose steering issues for quite a while. And just when I think I've got them all figured out, a new one surfaces. Anyway, the shaft that connects the steering column to the steering gear is slipping inside itself. It's notched so that it can't go more than about 15 degrees, but I want my steering fixed.
The replacement at the dealership is about $175 dollars. Is there an aftermarket one that's better? Any recommendations?
