How do the stock CJ TRE's compare to the Chevy/Ford "1-ton" TRE's. The shank dimensions are a little smaller, 11/16" vs 7/8". I'm looking to use them on a tie rod for my XJ with 1.5"x0.25" DOM tubing so i'm sure they will be the weak link.
