Cruise pick up location

My knowledge of the cruise control system is limited but I'm used toseeing a pick up located somewhere on a drive shaft....where is it on an XJ 89? Tranny? any advice greatly received!

The cruise control speed sensor goes around the seedo cable under the dash.
