Workout?
I started up about 3 weeks ago (weight lifting that is) after about a two year layoff. I was just wondering if I have anything else in common with you guys n girls other than Jeepin.

Feel free to pm me if you want any advice or workouts or anything I can help with. Part-time personal trainer while finishing school! ;)

Yeah, I'm a health freak. I try and go to the gym at least 3-4 times a week. It's hard to keep up being high school student, having a job, and all the other stuff I do. But I try and make it a priority. I don't do any weight stuff; I am addicted to cardio, though.

I love to lift. I have been lifting seriously for almost two decades now. I like to compete in natural drug tested bodybuilding events. In fact, have one in three weeks.
I'm so anal that I have to make myself take a week off every couple of months.

yup booze and the smokey got to me not to mention my girlfriend got pregnant I ate just as much as she did except she lost the weight.

i'm not that bad though i dont smoke anything any more nor do I really drink at all but i'll tell you what i got left with a gut funny thing is i was always really skinny 5'9 130 lbs throughout highschool now i'm 165 all in my stomach LOL nothing else got fatter

I do the work-out religiously. 6 times a week. Cardio and weights. keeps me in good shape, but I'm not trying to be a body builder or anything. I still smoke and drink, no fast food and watch what I eat. was always chubby growing up, now I'm gettin to where I want to be. 6' and about 203lbs.(32" waist) Still got a little fat to lose in the gut but I like good beer, no light crap for me!! Guess it's my "crutch".

I miss not being able to scratch my back.

I'm a healthful body builder myself. 4 day split I follow religiously. My diet is allways spot on and I make sure my gains are 100% natural.

Wifey bought me a t-shirt that says: Front- Im an official member of the Dickey Do club...Back- My belly hangs out more than my Dickey Do!:gonnablow

I still workout daily though, kinda lopsided, right arm mostly, one coffee, cola, beer at a time!

I guess I would step up to the plate...I have a before pic on the computer, just need to wait for the after pic!
I'm 22 and single, and nice weather is coming up soon and with this face I gotta get into some sort of shape! I have a decent amount of good looking friends with pools (and yes they are girls! haha)

My cardio this spring/summer is going to be working on my jeep. I swear I sweat more and get more pissed off at my POS than I do in the gym.

Hats off to you guys!

6 days a week is too much. You're body grows while you rest. Try 3-4 day split with one cardio day.
One group a day - Chest, Back, shoulder, Bicep, Tricep, and a leg/Ab day.
Explain the "split". I'm up for a change.

See how it works? It gives you're body time to grow while you rest. The uppers on the beginning of the week because cardio on sunday you don't want to over work you're legs.

You're diet is also EXTREMELY important. It will make or break you.

I think I get it. That's a 2 week cycle? I try to do at least 30min cardio a day, 4 days a week. The goal for me is to burn fat and build some muscle. Like I said, not lookin to get "ripped" and my metabolism sucks.

*sigh* Not since the Army have I taken real good care of myself. ;) I got fawking lazy, mostly due to the injuries I sustained while in. I used to run about 30-40mi each week (running every day) and alternate weights and misc cardio every other day. I had a nice build at 5'9" and 210lbs. Running a lot helped me catch bad guys while wearing BDUs w/boots, a bulletproof vest, and gunbelt. :D That was a trip to be able to soar over fences/walls and still out-sprint those mofos. :confused1

But I'm just a washed-out has-been. ;)

naw, its a one week program. What i described is a "Split" because half the week you are split between upper and lower. You also need to force feed yourself to gain those pounds.

Dude, you were a fat ass!!!

I was in my best shape when I worked at the penitentiary.
At that time, I was 6'1" and 210 with 6.5% body fat.
Benching 365 lbs for two reps and squatting 455 for one.

Now, I'm a fat ass and the only workout I get is at work, lifting big tires and fat leaf springs.:confused1

Get on my motorcycle and ride to work...

Drag some beer muscle laden/roid rager outta the bar by his leg...

Do 30 minutes of push-ups with a different Betty while on the clock at the bar...

Close the Bar at 5am...

12oz curls after closing the bar...

Ride to greasy spoon with biker buds with different Betty for breakfast...

Get home about 10am and enjoy cardio workout till collapse...

Kick workout partner outta the house bus change not included...

Go to sleep.

Wake up in pm and start all over...

I used to work out along time ago, still stretch everyday. I'm also 3rd degree Blackbelt started back in 1974.

Please feel free to post up pics of my sublime buttocks as I do believe that this is a suitable thread for them. I do not have that pic any longer as it went the way of the Dodo bird when the hard drive bit the dust. Oh and before anyone of you liars says it...I know that AT LEAST 5 of you saved that pic to your favorites. It's ok.

I can also offer advice on how you too can achieve an ass like mine. Feel free to PM if I can help.
