Trans. going bad. rebuilt 1yr ago looking for a offroad ready trans. my xj has 7"lift 35" tires 4:56 gears. any one know who builds good ones?

I quess no response on the trans. Has ANYBODY used GEAR TECH HEAVY DUTY in the state of Miss.They said that they build offroad drive trains to order. They are expensive so I wanted to get advise. Thanks Dan

Are you running an external tranny cooler? The AW4 is a very stout tranny even in stock form. I'm surprised that you only got a year out of a rebuilt unit.

I am just using the stock cooler I think it has a trailer package. I need to get a cooler with a aux.fan that can be mounted away from the heat.If you know of any please let me know Thanks Dan
