Any one know any thing bout the Outlaw trail as in the link below. http://www.loneriders.com/outlaw_trail/14_outlaw_trail_reference.html
I know National Geo Adneturer did an article on a Can2Mex venture as well. I am hoping someone here has done a similar trip. I am making time for an epic trip this summer and really wanted to do a border to border venture.
Thanks

Why Canada? Why not start or end in Deadhorse, AK?
I've heard of a company that tours an outlaw trail. Don't know if that's the same one...

Randy, Does your wife even let you drive her XJ? I mean, she's seen what you've done to yours..

i remember getting some advertisement post card from some company that wanted me to pay to run a trail from north to south, i recall it was just a series of trails thru different areas and crossed alot fo private land. but was by no means trail all the way.
and if Ted Turner gets his way he'll own enough land in the mid-west to ride his horse fom norht to south on his own land, land that will be classified as "wildlife preserve" no wheeled vehicles will touch it ever again. thats a real far-fetched dream of his but f it's a dream that can be bought, he can afford it.

I found this by googling "canada to mexico off road" http://www.nationalgeographic.com/adventure/0408/excerpt1.html
Damn that sounds like fun. Try taking a bunch of good photos and keep a detailed journal and then write an article or series of articles and sell it to a 4-wheeling magazine.
I expect to see the great summer adventure articles starting in Jan '07.
