Is there a date for the Pre-Run yet?
Or is there even a pre-run?

myself and some of the guys from work are going to be visiting browns camp in the next few weeks. We're going on bikes and quads, but it'll still be good just to see the areas

Since I will not be able to attend NW Fest now (heading down for Sierra Fest). I am EXTREMELY interested in doing a Pre-Run or maybe two:)
Phil, have you found a few people who know the area well?
If not, PM me. I might know someone to talk to.
Let me know when we are doing the Pre run and I am all in. Lets make sure we have plenty of notice on this one since the coordination will be important.
Thanks,
Michael

I might drive the new car down for a mini-road trip along the Oregon Coast when you guys go down, and then just ride along with someone on the trails. I'm really looking forward to stretching the car's legs on hwy 101. We'll see about timing, though.

I'm new to NAXJA. What goes on at these events? Is it a competition or is it just hanging out and 4wheeling with fellow XJers? Is there going to be all levels of trails, or is this going to be pretty tough? Thanks.

Hanging out wheeling and telling lies around the campfire. Big dinner one night and this year we're thinking breakfast on morning. Every other meal is on your own. :) Oh yeah, and wheeling all levels of trails. We'll post minimum requirements later. :)

So back to the first question.
When is the pre run? Id like to go before I tear my rig apart, to lift it and all. I wanna see how it does before and after.

Yes, to attend the event, Aug. 11-13th, you have to be a member per the Bylaws of NAXJA. http://www.naxja.org/html/bylaws.htm Read artical IX for more info. No membership needed for a non offical prerun. You know you want to...https://secure.naxja.org/html/naxjamemberapp.htm

Unless the rules have changed, NAXJA members are allowed to invite 1 guest, at least that was policy for last year's NWFest. Hopefully will be the same this year too.

Yup, 1 guest. All attending parties have to pay, but non-members can be invited as guests so long as they meet the minimum requirements. :)

60/40 going, not going. I'll know more tomorrow when I pick up my truck from the shop. "Do I really feel like driving 600+ miles...?"

And thanks for reminding me of the fact that I would be graduating this year. That makes me feel much better about my life and the choices I've made. Thanks. http://smiley.onegreatguy.net/beatdeadhorse.gif
Here's where I would have been in another year and a half:
