Homemade Airtube

Alright My dad thinks 250 beans is a rip for an airtube and filter for his 03 F-250. He wants to build one instead. We have plenty of metal fab stuff around if it needs to be made from that. What/How should we build it and what should it be made from? PVC?

i carry a company called MAC they do alot of exhaust for mustangs, anyway they make air intake kits also. they are great quality and cheap too
