I have a chance to get my hands on a 75 Bronco with a D44 Front/9" rear. The whole thing is rusted to hell, but I believe that the axles are still salvageable. If I'm not mistaken, they have the welded radius arm mounts as well. Anyone know what kind of gears they would have and how much they're worth if I cleaned them up a bit?

I don't really plan on putting them under my XJ anytime soon or else I'd take them, but I know you adv fab guys could put them to good use. I don't know how much they want for it yet, but I don't think it'll be a lot.

What I'm really asking is how much could I get for these axles if I cleaned the rust off of them, painted them up nice and sold them to a jeeper in need of a big project? I think they have 4.10 gears but I'm not sure, but regardless, the body and frame are way too rusted out to be worth anything.

wouldn't a '75 be low pinion?

I thought all the fords were HP 44's. Anyways, it has drums on the front, which I figure are pretty junk, but the axles themselves aren't too bad rust-wise.

For some reason Ford put low pinion 44's in EB's. the width is great for an XJ if you are using a stock width rear. The front 44 will work fine but the diff is more towards the center of the axle compared to your dana 30. This causes a slight lateral offset in the driveshaft. The radius arm brackets are welded on and will come off with careful grinding in about 45 minutes to an hour. Drum brakes are lame, but if you are planning on running hi-steer knuckles, you will be using chevy/waggy brakes anyway.

Here's mine: (note:not using lame bent track bar)
